TRAVEL AGENT PROMOTION



Without promotion, travel agent difficult to maintain its existence. Income from ticket sales may be just enough to cover our daily needs. If we want to  develop our business, we are not enough quite silent behind the counter waiting for customers passing by. Promotion is needed to develop the business. A vigorous campaign can bring customers doubled compared to if we just quietly waiting for passers-by. We need to evaluate and create effective promotions. We had to rearrange our personal appearance, the office layout, as well as administrative procedures. All of it was also part of the promotion. Promotion is one of the marketing work that aims: to introduce new products or to increase sales and maintain stability and to build a positive image of the product. Good bookkeeping and legality of our business is the ultimate promotional tool and should be prioritized before stepping into another form of promotion. Show that our business is a legitimate business and does not contain elements of fraud. We have been registered officially by having: NPWP, SITU, SIUP and NRP. This is the first we have to emphasize to prospective customers so that they are confident and have no hesitation with our services. When we promote offline and online, we must always stress our legality. It is our effort to the promotion of the essential and eternal. All our business will be in vain if  caught by  public that our business is illegal.

2. Well design of the office

Is the design of the interior and exterior of our office is quite interesting? Is the design and size of the banner, Neonbox or company name board size is enough to be visible and attractive to be read from a distance? Include a phone number that is easy to remember and written rather large. It allows people who pass by the vehicle can quickly record the number. Is the interior is also designed well? Is the room is pretty cool and clean? The convenience will make our guests become loyal customers, even referring to their friends.

3. Hospitality of the Customer Service

The quality of the customer service is also as a part of the promotion. We always have to serve every guest with a smile and a polite greeting. Every guest who comes, whether that simply asking prices or really want to buy, all served well. We record the name, address and telephone number. This database of the  visitors is very important to be followed up at every opportunity. Based on the data we send SMS for holiday greetings or birthday as our concern to the customer. 4. The Offline Promotion

Although the current era of online, offline promotion is still being done. This is because not all potential prospects have time to search our website. Prospective customers are not easy to find our website for the competition of a position in Search Engines.

Offline Promotion can be through: classified ads in newspapers, advertising in the (yellow pages, magazines, tabloids), spreading leaflets in crowded centers (malls, terminals, stations, etc.), Telephone, door to door, correspondence, as speakers (seminars, dialogues on TV / Radio), active consumer contacts, publishing (brochures, leaflets, business cards, letterhead), wall magazines, bulletins periodically, calendar, campaign social, sticker, t-shirts, cooperative advertising, greeting cards, post profiles companies in newspapers and magazines, hire an advertising agency or PR (Public Relations), competition, organized seminars, tucking flyers, promotional catalogs or promotional material other into a bill to be sent, hunting consumers (exhibitions, Community, seminars, magazines, newspapers, phone books), souvenirs (mugs, hats, umbrellas, bags, balloons, etc.), signposts and nameplate, tucking flyers on car windshields, put stickers on the vehicle, make a list of products, making video company profile, proposal, free samples, charity events, booking remotely (mail, email, SMS, Phone, BBM), etc.

The other Offline promotion  is to publish the company's profile in newspapers or magazines. We use a wide space with an attractive design to attract readers. We explain the benefits when using our services. We can also include the address, phone number and map of our office.

In the case of offline promotion, in addition to our promotions directly from the company to the customer, we can also work together with outside parties such as community leaders, religious teachers, study groups, the chairman of Islamic study groups, ta'mir mosque, KBIH , Islamic organizations, social gathering, foundations, government offices and private institutions, factories, companies, schools and colleges. They have  jama'ah  and potential to become our prospective customers. We intertwine active communication with them. Offer them for interesting benefits.

5. Online Promotion

Now the campaign via the Internet has become a necessity. It will provide broader reach and more effective than just focus on the offline way. It can reach those who spend more time online than offline. The middle class as the target market  are almost all internet minded. That is the place where we anchored promotions. Within the range is almost unlimited. Almost all corners of the world could be reached. The cost is not too expensive.

Online promotion of the travel agency consists of two materials, namely the promotion of tourist destinations, and the second about our company. Target online promotions like a double-edged knife. The first to develop a network. Second, directly addressed to potential customers of the travel agency services.

The first step for the promotion online is by creating websites. The next step is to fill our website with various kinds of posts that contain the promotion of the company and our merchandise. If there is no activity, then our existence in cyberspace will not be known. The website is like a store, if there are no visitors means no buyers. Regularly update our website. With so many activities in the virtual world, our company is more easily found by search engine sites. We create quality content. No matter how good the design of our website, if not supported by quality content, our website will be left behind by visitors. Content can include tips or a brief information inserted with promotional material. We could hold a contest follower. For the first winner we give gifts, such as free holidays in one of the tourist destinations. For the second and third winners received a discount travel tickets. We can put an ad on Google, Yahoo, and other websites related to our business. We can also campaign on social media networks such as facebook, twitter, Gooogle plus and others.
