Article 10

Any violation of the provisions of Article 6 of the foregoing are made by the FIRST PARTY to the SECOND PARTY, is legally null and void, and therefore without a demand from the SECOND PARTY, all rights and obligations under this agreement remains fully valid for the SECOND PARTY.

PREPRINTING PROCESS

Manuscript editing can be done using the application PageMaker, Microsoft Publisher or Freehand. At this stage a new concentration on the process of editing the text either on grammar, style, consistency of spelling, terminology, formulas, tables, pictures and images, capital letters, italics, bold, size of letters in the title of the chapter, section and text , decoding of words, compound words, and punctuation.

UNLAWFUL MANUSCRIPT

Since the manuscript is accepted, prior to start looking in detail on the techniques of writing, we as an editor have put radar in us to catch signals that lead to the violation of norms,  laws, customs and religion. This glance has begun to appear on the title, preface, table of contents, illustrations and content.

TEXT EDITING

One task as an editor is to edit the text which agreed to publish. Once the file is received and we put in our computer, then we start correcting it. It is not just about the correction of typos, but no less important is the author of consistency in terms of writing, spelling, punctuation, and so on. Consistency issues are not going to change the contents of the book mean, but rather on disorders of the reader's concentration. The reader is made disturbed by their promiscuous use of the term instead, spelling, punctuation, capitalization, italics, bold, chemical formulas, physics or mathematics. Readers are supposed to be cool to continue reading, suddenly had to stop because of disturbed by the use of inconsistent spelling and grumbling, and so he closed the book.

BETWEEN AUTHORS AND PUBLISHERS

Between authors and publishers have a relationship of mutual need. Publishers may not work without the author. Author unlikely idea and mission conveyed to the general public without a publisher. Just because it involves money, it must always be made agreement in black and white in order to avoid injuring mutual cooperation between the two sides. With the letter of agreement if one party then there is no good faith, each can file a lawsuit to the court based on the provisions that have been infringed.

HUNTING THE MANUSCRIPT

The best manuscript to be published should be sought. It is impossible comes by itself on  our desk. The manuscripts may already exist and may not exist yet. We have to ask to the figuers as described below to make a script based on our request. Sometimes they do not realize that they have a treasure trove for publication. They become aware and surprized when we asked about that. What do they have to be more enduring and more useful to general public if it is printed in book form. Moreover, if what we are asking it to lift their name or boost their popularity or enhance their career. They would be more eager to give us what we asked for.

THE MANUSCRIPT

A. Looking for a Manuscript

The publisher's main job is to produce a book that is approximately sold. Generated from text books. Manuscripts are original works that have not been reproduced. The form may be handwritten or typed manually or stored in a computer file. The content must meet the standards of scientific, good vision, systematic, grammar and style as well as the number of pages. The manuscript is worthy of scientific manuscripts published not just any, but a script about when it is printed into a reading book sold. It could be sold for a famous author, it was interesting and up to date, the price is right, cover design and attractive contents, promotion and distribution is quite broad and vigorous.
