UNLAWFUL MANUSCRIPT

Since the manuscript is accepted, prior to start looking in detail on the techniques of writing, we as an editor have put radar in us to catch signals that lead to the violation of norms,  laws, customs and religion. This glance has begun to appear on the title, preface, table of contents, illustrations and content.

We should not be memorized by rote every chapter and verse of all laws and government regulations, or all the unwritten rules of the customs of a tribe or a specific social environment or passages from the scriptures of all religions. We quite understand the universal norms of human beings in general, plus a little about the rule of law, customary norms and religious norms. With the understanding that we could capture the signals that lead to the violation of certain norms. Only then checked in more detail in the statute books and religious scriptures related.

Once we are sure about it we consult with the head of the company and the author. If possible we make some improvements here and there. If not, for example, because the author refuses to follow the policy of the publisher, then the text should be rejected. This is to avoid a negative impact in the future as a result of the publication unlawful. Indeed, many publishers are taking advantage of the moment of the offense as a means of promotion in order to increase circulation. If just one of the editors in the prison and the company still running may not be a problem. It is become a big problem  if the company  banned, then of course it is very disadvantage for the company.

In addition, the problem of plagiarism of the authors or other publishers also have to be taken seriously by an editor. Do not let a script that will be working on it turned out to be plagiarized manuscript. It would be very embarrassing for all parties involved if until it got to the court.
